Arusha to Tarangire National Park
6:30 AM – Group Pickup & Drive to Tarangire. The group assembles from their respective Arusha hotels for introductions and a route briefing before driving south through the Maasai steppe to Tarangire National Park. Entry in time for a full afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River circuit — elephant herds of 200 to 300 animals moving in slow, dusty processions through the ancient baobab woodland, lion prides in the riverine shade, leopards on rocky outcrops above the river, and over 550 bird species filling every tree. Your guide covers the open baobab woodland circuits where greater kudu, gerenuk, fringe-eared oryx, and giraffe make Tarangire's antelope diversity unique on the northern circuit.
