This immersive 9-day Kenya and Tanzania combined safari leads you through two of Africa’s most legendary safari countries. Witness the vast savannahs of the Masai Mara, the rich plains of the Serengeti, the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater, and wildlife-rich Lake Manyara. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you'll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, preparing for your safari. Overnight at a comfortable Nairobi hotel.
After breakfast, depart by road or optional flight to the famed Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch and a short rest at your lodge/camp. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in search of lions, elephants, and herds of wildebeest. Overnight inside the Masai Mara.
A full day dedicated to game viewing in the Masai Mara. You’ll track predators like lions and cheetahs and observe the Great Migration herds (July–October). Optional hot air balloon safari available. Picnic lunch in the bush or return to camp for lunch and evening game drive.
After early breakfast, drive to the Isebania border. Complete immigration formalities, then continue into Tanzania to the Serengeti with picnic lunch en route. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the northern Serengeti. Overnight in a lodge or tented camp within Serengeti.
Spend the entire day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti. This park offers top-tier wildlife sightings and is home to the Big Five. Follow the migration trails (if in season), or focus on tracking resident wildlife. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
After morning game drive and breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge (optional visit). Arrive at the crater rim for scenic views and overnight stay. Lodges offer stunning vistas into the crater or surrounding forests.
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this unique volcanic caldera. Spot rhinos, lions, hippos, and flamingos. Later in the day, proceed to Lake Manyara area for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its birdlife, tree-climbing lions, and diverse habitats. Afterwards, drive to Arusha, arriving by afternoon. Optional visit to local markets or cultural sites. Overnight in Arusha.
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. Depending on your departure time, optional Arusha city tour can be arranged. End of 9-day Kenya-Tanzania safari.
