Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our representative will meet and transfer you to your Arusha lodge. After check-in, relax at the lodge surrounded by lush gardens. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a guided Arusha city tour or visit a local cultural center. Dinner and overnight at a luxury lodge in Arusha.
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scenic bush flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon landing on a remote airstrip, your driver-guide will be waiting to take you on a game drive en route to your lodge. Spot herds of zebras, elephants, lions, and cheetahs as you make your way across the endless plains. Arrive at your luxury tented camp in time for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight in the central Serengeti.
Today is devoted to full-day wildlife viewing in the Serengeti. Explore various ecosystems ranging from riverine forests to acacia-dotted savannahs. Follow predator tracks, witness dramatic predator-prey interactions, and possibly see the great migration (season-dependent). Enjoy a packed lunch in the wild before continuing your game drive until sunset. Return to camp for dinner and storytelling by the fire.
Start the day with an optional sunrise hot air balloon safari followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush (advance booking required). Later, enjoy game drives focusing on big cats, giraffes, hippos, and rhinos. Learn about the Serengeti’s ecosystem and conservation efforts from your expert guide. Depending on the time of year, head north for the river crossings during the Great Migration (June–October) or south for calving season (December–March). Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for an unforgettable full-day safari. The crater is home to over 25,000 animals, including the rare black rhino, huge bull elephants, flamingos at Lake Magadi, and prides of lions. A picnic lunch will be served on the crater floor. Ascend back to your lodge in the late afternoon. Overnight on the crater rim.
After breakfast and a relaxed morning, drive back to Arusha with scenic views of rural Tanzania along the way. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant or lodge in Arusha. Check into your day room or lodge for rest and refreshment. Time permitting, you can visit local markets or cultural centers for souvenir shopping.
Enjoy your final breakfast in Tanzania. Depending on your international flight time, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your departure. End of services. Safe travels!
