generoustours43@gmail.com Experience the ultimate 8 day private Tanzania safari with a dedicated guide through Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Explore big game territories, luxury camps, and authentic Maasai culture in comfort and style.
This 8 day private safari in Tanzania offers an immersive journey through two of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations — Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. With your own dedicated guide and private 4x4 safari vehicle, you’ll enjoy flexible schedules, personalized wildlife viewing, and exclusive accommodation options. From witnessing the Great Migration (seasonal) to descending into the world’s largest intact caldera, this safari is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure tailored to you.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal safari guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Relax after your flight with dinner and a safari briefing. Overnight in a comfortable lodge or boutique hotel.
After breakfast, either take a scenic flight (optional upgrade) or drive via Ngorongoro highlands into the heart of the Serengeti. Stop for game viewing en route, spotting giraffes, lions, and possibly leopards. Arrive at your tented camp/lodge for sunset views and dinner.
Spend the day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti with your private guide. Depending on the time of year, you may encounter large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Expect lion prides, cheetahs, elephants, and a variety of birdlife. Enjoy a bush picnic or return to camp for lunch. Optional sundowners in the wild.
Drive to either Northern or Southern Serengeti depending on the season. Northern Serengeti (July–October) is ideal for river crossings, while Southern Serengeti (December–March) hosts calving season. Full-day game drive with breaks in scenic picnic spots.
Start the day with a sunrise game drive or optional hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti (extra cost). Return for brunch and relax at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure or go for a shorter evening game drive. Perfect day to unwind in nature and soak in the atmosphere.
Depart Serengeti after breakfast. En route, visit Olduvai Gorge — a significant archaeological site where early human fossils were discovered. Reach Ngorongoro highlands by afternoon and check in at your lodge on the crater rim with panoramic views.
Descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts a dense population of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a hippo pool before more game viewing. Evening return to the crater rim lodge.
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha with optional stops for local craft shopping or lunch. Depending on your flight schedule, a day room can be arranged before transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
June to October and December to March offer the best wildlife viewing. Each season offers different highlights — dry season for predator sightings, green season for migration calving.
