This 7-day wildlife safari takes you on an unforgettable journey across Tanzania’s most iconic national parks—Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll witness the Big Five, stay in authentic lodges and tented camps, and enjoy a magical hot air balloon ride over the endless plains of Serengeti. The itinerary is perfect for photographers, wildlife lovers, couples, and families seeking a rich and immersive safari experience.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take this day to relax and recover from your flight. Optional city tour available depending on your arrival time.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive with picnic lunch in the park. You'll spot giraffes, zebras, lions, and possibly leopards. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near Tarangire.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, hippos, and rich birdlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive including the groundwater forest and lake shores. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Karatu for overnight at a lodge nestled in the highlands.
After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. En route game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, enjoy your first Serengeti game drive as you head to your central Serengeti camp. Overnight in the heart of the park.
Wake up before dawn for your hot air balloon safari. Soar above the Serengeti plains at sunrise and spot herds of wildebeest, elephants, and predators from the sky. After landing, enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush. Spend the rest of the day on game drives exploring the central Serengeti, where big cats and wildlife are abundant.
Depart Serengeti early morning and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to black rhinos, lions, flamingos, buffaloes, and more. After your game drive and picnic lunch, ascend and head back to Karatu for overnight.
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight time, enjoy a cultural visit or lunch in town. You’ll then be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your outbound flight, marking the end of your 7-day safari.
