generoustours43@gmail.com Experience a 7-day Masai Mara safari from Nairobi with thrilling game drives, Big Five sightings, luxury lodges, and expert guides. Ideal for wildlife lovers and photographers.
Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime 7-day safari adventure from Nairobi to the world-renowned Masai Mara. This carefully crafted itinerary offers the perfect blend of wildlife viewing, cultural interaction, and scenic landscapes. Ideal for families, solo travelers, couples, and small groups, this safari promises unforgettable memories with opportunities to witness the Big Five, the Great Migration (seasonal), and breathtaking African sunsets.
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), our friendly safari representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, you can unwind, swim, or explore nearby attractions such as the Karen Blixen Museum or Giraffe Centre (optional, own cost).
After an early breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive toward the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the escarpment viewpoint for panoramic photo opportunities. Proceed through the fertile lands of Narok before arriving at your lodge near the Masai Mara. After lunch and some rest, enjoy your first evening game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, elephants, and even elusive predators.
Spend a full day exploring the untamed wilderness of the Masai Mara. Depart early with packed picnic lunches for maximum time in the bush. Traverse the Mara Triangle and riverbanks in search of the Big Five and other species such as topi, hyenas, warthogs, jackals, and Nile crocodiles. If traveling during July–October, you may witness the iconic wildebeest river crossing, an intense display of survival. Return to camp by late afternoon for a relaxing evening by the fire.
Begin with a sunrise game drive for a chance to catch predators as they wind down from nocturnal hunts. After breakfast, visit an authentic Maasai village (Manyatta) to learn about traditional warrior culture, marriage customs, beadwork, and livestock lifestyle. Return to the lodge for lunch and an optional nature walk with a local guide. Enjoy a sundowner later with panoramic views over the savannah.
Early risers can opt for a breathtaking hot air balloon safari (additional cost), which offers a bird's eye view of the Mara followed by a bush breakfast. Later, go on a mid-morning or afternoon game drive, tailored to your interests—whether it’s finding rhinos in the Musiara Swamp or lions in the Paradise Plain. Return to camp for a campfire dinner under the stars.
Wake up early for your final game drive, a last opportunity to spot species you may have missed. After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. You’ll be transferred to your hotel for the night or directly to the airport depending on your schedule.
Enjoy breakfast and relax depending on your flight time. If time permits, visit local attractions like the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage or Kazuri Beads Women's Factory for ethical shopping. Our driver will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight. Safari ends with unforgettable memories!
