This 7-day safari and beach combo is a perfect fusion of wild adventure and coastal bliss, designed for travelers seeking both thrill and tranquility in one unforgettable journey. You’ll explore the iconic Serengeti National Park, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration, followed by pristine relaxation on Zanzibar's idyllic beaches. With hand-picked accommodations, seamless domestic flights, experienced guides, and carefully curated experiences, this itinerary is ideal for couples, families, and solo travelers looking to make the most of Tanzania’s natural wonders.
Your adventure begins as you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will be welcomed by our airport representative. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha, a bustling city nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxing evening at the lodge or take an optional visit to a local market or coffee farm. Dinner will be served at the lodge and your guide will brief you on the upcoming safari journey.
After an early breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Arusha Airport for a scenic bush flight to Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti National Park. Soar above the Great Rift Valley and savannahs below. On landing, meet your safari guide and begin your first thrilling game drive. Keep your eyes open for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and herds of antelope. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and later head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner under the stars.
Spend a full day exploring the iconic Central Serengeti, known for its predator-rich terrain. Start with a sunrise game drive to catch early wildlife activity. Your guide will navigate through the Seronera Valley, hippo pools, and Moru Kopjes—rocky outcrops often sheltering lions and leopards. A picnic lunch will be served in a scenic area. In the afternoon, look out for the Great Migration (seasonal) or resident wildlife. Return to camp for a relaxing evening and campfire storytelling.
Rise early for one last Serengeti game drive and a chance to see nocturnal animals returning to shelter. After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, meet your Zanzibar guide who will transfer you to your beach resort. Spend the afternoon unwinding by the sea, enjoying a cocktail and a swim in the turquoise waters.
After breakfast, take a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its blend of Arabic, Persian, Indian, and European cultures. Visit the House of Wonders, Sultan’s Palace, and the Old Slave Market. After lunch, head to a spice farm to learn how Zanzibar earned its title as the “Spice Island.” See and taste cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg, and tropical fruits. Return to the resort for dinner and rest.
Today is yours to spend as you please. Bask in the sun, read by the beach, or choose from optional activities such as snorkeling at Mnemba Atoll, scuba diving, dolphin watching in Kizimkazi, or a sunset dhow sailing cruise. Alternatively, explore Jozani Forest to see the rare red colobus monkeys or visit Prison Island for a glimpse of giant tortoises. In the evening, enjoy freshly caught seafood at the resort.
Enjoy your final morning in paradise with a leisurely breakfast. Depending on your flight time, you may have time for one last beach stroll or a swim. After check-out, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your international flight or onward travel. This marks the end of your unforgettable Tanzania beach and safari adventure.
