This 6-day safari also takes you into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, renowned for its dense wildlife population. Ideal for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and nature lovers, this itinerary is designed to maximize your game-viewing experience in two of Tanzania's most iconic safari destinations.

After breakfast, depart early for a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you'll witness the dramatic change in landscape from lush highlands to the vast savannah plains of Serengeti. Today is dedicated to exploring the Central Serengeti ecosystem. This region is famous for its year-round predator sightings, especially lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Depending on the migration movement, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras as they graze and cross rivers. You’ll embark on morning and afternoon game drives, with a break for lunch at a scenic picnic site or your lodge. Optional: Early morning hot air balloon safari (extra cost).
After breakfast, proceed towards the Northern Serengeti, where the Great Migration is typically found between July and October. This region offers dramatic river crossings at the Mara River, where crocodiles await their chance as thousands of wildebeest plunge into the waters. Spend the afternoon on a game drive along the riverbanks, tracking the migration herds and predators such as lions and hyenas.
Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Northern Serengeti to catch any remaining migration activity. After breakfast, embark on a drive back through Serengeti en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop for wildlife viewing along the way. Arrive at your lodge located on the crater rim by late afternoon. Relax with panoramic views of the crater floor as the sun sets.
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive inside this wildlife-rich caldera. The crater floor offers exceptional chances to see the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino.
