Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Moshi. After a briefing, you’ll drive approximately 3 hours to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park’s Tarangire River becomes a magnet for wildlife during the dry season, attracting large concentrations of elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeest, and various bird species. You'll enjoy an extensive game drive with a packed lunch in a scenic picnic spot. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge/camp near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a gem known for its lush groundwater forests, soda lake filled with flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. You'll explore diverse habitats, including open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the lakeshore, offering opportunities to spot elephants, hippos, baboons, antelopes, and various birdlife. A game drive will be conducted until late afternoon before returning to the lodge/camp for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Following breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive itself is a game-viewing experience, passing through Maasai villages and rolling highlands. Upon entering Serengeti, you’ll start spotting wildlife almost immediately. An en-route game drive will be conducted as you head toward the central Serengeti (Seronera area), known for its year-round concentration of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and large herds of herbivores. Arrive at your camp/lodge in time for dinner and overnight.
Start your day with a sunrise game drive in Serengeti to witness predators in action during their most active hours. After breakfast, enjoy a mid-morning game drive exploring different regions of Serengeti’s vast plains, following migration herds if in season. After a picnic lunch, begin your journey towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive en route. Arrive at the lodge on the crater rim in the evening for dinner and overnight, with spectacular views of the crater floor.
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a natural wildlife sanctuary. The crater is home to over 25,000 animals including the Big Five—rhino, lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo—as well as hippos, wildebeests, gazelles, and flamingos around Lake Magadi. You’ll enjoy a half-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the crater. In the early afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin the drive back to Moshi, arriving in the early evening marking the end of your unforgettable group safari adventure.
