Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins after breakfast at your hotel in Arusha or upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your professional driver-guide will brief you before departure. A 2-hour scenic drive takes you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, dense wildlife population, and notably large herds of elephants. Upon entry, you’ll begin a full-day game drive through varied habitats – savannah, swamps, and acacia woodlands.

Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and possibly lions and leopards. The park is also a bird watcher’s paradise with over 500 recorded species. Lunch will be served at a picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River.
